Article Writing Tactics That Work
When it comes to article writing there are those who ask, "how many articles should they write or how often". Others may ask, "is there a limit to how many articles that can be written?" Here are a few tactics and guidelines that can help in your article writing efforts. Remember that article marketing can have a viral effect in your advertising efforts. It may take a little time to really get things going, that is why you have to be consistent with this form of advertising. This consistency I am writing about, means a steady number of articles per week. Basically, there is no limit as long as you can maintain the number of articles you write on a consistent basis. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest. Many successful article marketers use this appraoch to build into their reader base. Try writing a minimum of 2 to 3 articles a week, with at least 300 words and not more than 600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 or more targeted readers to your site in a day. Remember, these readers will be interested in your product or service. Always remember that only 1 or 2 out of 100 people are likely to buy your products or purchase your services. If you can generate as many as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can make 10 sales based on this average alone. These tactics are not very difficult to do and maintain, if you think about it. It simply requires a little time and a little effort on your part. Unlike most other forms of advertising this form can spread to reach potentially millions of readers. This is the viral effect that many niche marketers find so attractive. I don't recommend writing for affiliate programs as much as I would recommend writing for your home site. Affiliate programs come and go. If you are writing for one and it goes under, you have lost those articles. On the other hand, if you write for your home site, you can change the content without losing the work you put into the articles.
